Just before 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, rescue crews were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of Millchop Lane in Magnolia following reports of a gunshot victim. Emergency personnel located one patient and transported them to a nearby hospital, where they were in critical condition at the time of transport.
The Delaware State Police issued a statement shortly after the response, advising the public to avoid Millchop Lane between Juanita Drive and Cherry Drive due to an active criminal investigation.
The Delaware State Police are expected to issue an update later today.
