Two Incidents Over The Weekend Under Investigation

The Dover Police Department is investigating two separate burglaries reported Saturday morning at businesses located along Forrest Avenue in Dover.

The first incident, assigned case number 50-25-43692, occurred at Vincenzo’s, located at 1035 Forrest Avenue. Police were dispatched to the business at 9:14 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, after receiving a report of a burglary. Officers made contact with an employee upon arrival. The investigation determined that at approximately 6:06 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the business through an unsecured door. Once inside, the suspect removed money from the business and fled the location.

A second burglary was reported less than an hour later at Dragon Land Smoke Shop, located at 1230 Forrest Avenue. Police were dispatched at 7:10 a.m. for a report of a burglary at the business. Officers found that the rear door had been pried open. The investigation revealed that at approximately 7:06 a.m., an unknown suspect forced open the rear door to gain access to the store, removed cash belonging to the business, and then left the scene.

Both investigations remain ongoing. At this time, police report that there are no leads available for public release. Anyone with information related to either incident is encouraged to contact the Dover Police Department.
