Partygoer Robbed At Gunpoint In Dover

The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery reported early Sunday morning in the unit block of South Independence Boulevard.

According to police, officers were contacted by the victim in a parking lot in the area. Detectives determined the victim had attended a party nearby prior to the incident. After leaving the gathering, the victim was approached by two suspects. Police said one of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the area in a gray vehicle.

The suspects were described as Black males wearing masks. No additional descriptions were released.
