Murder Suspect Located In Harrington

The Delaware State Police have arrested a 62-year-old Milton man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday.

Authorities said the incident took place on April 11, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., when troopers responded to the 20000 block of Forest Road in Milton for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, troopers located a 47-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Sunday, authorities issued a statement requesting the public’s assistance in locating Myron Savage, who had been identified as the suspect. Detectives had obtained a warrant for his arrest and were searching for him.

After troopers issued the statement,Savage was taken into custody without incident in Harrington and transported to Troop 3. He was formally charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Savage was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,060,000 cash bond.
