A Wilmington man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation by the New Castle County Division of Police into child sexual pornography material, authorities said.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Unit reported that in February 2026 they received information that 19-year-old Logan Albright, of Cannon Drive, was in possession of child pornography on his cell phone. An investigation was initiated, and after reviewing the information, detectives obtained a search warrant for the device.
During the execution of the warrant, investigators located 25 images and videos depicting child sexual abuse material, with some files dating back to 2023, police said. Detectives said they determined that Albright had been using online communication applications to access servers containing the material.
On March 31, 2026, Albright, who was already being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, was arraigned on 25 felony counts of dealing in child pornography. Following arraignment, he remained in custody after failing to post $500,000 cash bail.
The charges follow an earlier incident in February that also resulted in Albright’s incarceration. On February 24, 2026, at approximately 4:00 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Maple Avenue in the Bellefonte area for a report of an injured individual. Upon arrival, police located a 20-year-old male suffering from a severe laceration to his hand. An officer applied a tourniquet before emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital.
Detectives determined the incident stemmed from an online dispute between the victim and Albright. Investigators reported that Albright went to the victim’s residence armed with a hatchet and confronted him in the front yard. During the encounter, the victim’s hand was struck, causing the injury police said.
The victim was treated and later released from the hospital. Albright also sustained minor injuries and was treated before being taken into custody.
In connection with that incident, Albright was charged with first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and third-degree criminal trespass. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $80,050 cash bail.
