Reports: One Found Shot On DSU Campus Monday

Emergency responders were dispatched to Delaware State University following reports of a person shot Monday evening.

According initial reports, units were sent to Tubman Hall, located at 1200 North Dupont Highway, at approximately 7:44 p.m. for a reported gunshot wound. Responding units included Kent County Paramedics, along with EMS.

Initial reports indicate one individual was found with a gunshot wound and was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been officially confirmed.

Law enforcement agencies responded to assist on campus, however no official reports have been issues by any police agancies at the time of this posting.

The incident does not appear on the university’s publicly available crime log, which has not been updated in over a month.
