31-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Tuesday Shooting

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night in the 2300 block of North Carter Street.

Officers responded to the area at approximately 9:23 p.m., where they located a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police said additional information will be released as it becomes available. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Wilmington Police.
