According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded to the 1000 block of North Lombard Street at approximately 12:45 a.m. for a reported shooting. During the investigation, police learned that a 16-year-old male gunshot victim had arrived at a local hospital. He was reported to be in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
