At approximately 9:00 p.m. Saturday, New Castle County Paramedics and the Wilmington Manor Fire Company were dispatched to East Basin Road in the area of North DuPont Highway for a report of an overturned vehicle.
Emergency crews arrived and found a single vehicle that had left the roadway and collided with a guardrail. One patient was treated at the scene.
An approximately 40-year-old man was treated by New Castle County Paramedics for possible internal injuries. He was transported in stable condition to Christiana Hospital aboard a Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation by Delaware State Police.
