Bear – This morning at about 8:00 am drivers coming across the C & D Canal on Summit Bridge Road northbound were met with accident that was partially blocking the roadway.
New Castle County Paramedics, along with Delaware State Police and fire crews from Middletown responded to the accident and quickly determined that one of the drivers was suffering from a medical condition. That driver was transported to Christiana Hospital.
The accident scene has been moved to the side of the road but is still causing a delay with a back up to Chesapeake City Rd.
