Concord Pike McDonald’s Robbed Friday Night

Wilmington – Delaware State Police are currently investigating the armed robbery of a Wilmington area McDonald’s Restaurant that occurred late Friday evening, according to State Police.

Officials said the investigation thus far has determined that the incident happened on Friday July 28, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m., as a male suspect entered the McDonald’s Restaurant located at 2507 Concord Pike.

The suspect then approached a female employee who was standing behind the sales counter and presented her with a demand note for cash, according to police. The employee provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register before he exited the business and was last seen fleeing in an eastbound direction on Prospect Drive. There were no injuries and no weapon was displayed.

The suspect was described as a white male. He was 18-20 years of age, 5’10”-5’11” tall, weighed 130-145 lbs., with blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants and had a mask partially covering his face. There is no further physical or clothing description available at this time.
