Police: Teen Robbers Steal Man’s Belt In Dover

Dover – The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a juvenile that was walking in the Rodney Village Shopping Plaza Saturday night, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

Fournier said the incident occurred at approximately 9:57 p.m., Saturday August 26, 2017, as a juvenile male was approached by a male subject in the area of the 1600 block of South Governors Avenue. While walking with the subject, three other males approached and began assaulting the victim, said Fournier. Once on the ground, the suspects removed the victim’s cell phone, belt, and a necklace before fleeing toward Rodney Village development. The victims sustained minor injuries, but refused on-scene medical attention.

Three of the suspects were described as black males, 14-18 years of age, 5’08”-5’10” tall, (No further physical or clothing description). The forth suspect was described as a black male 11-13 years of age, 5’00”-5’03” tall. Unknown if they were armed with any weapons.
