Happening Now: Police Have Just Reported That A 15-Year-Old Girl Has Been Shot

Wilmington – Earlier this afternoon, Sunday, 15 October 2017, at approximately 5:30 pm, Wilmington Police responded to the 600 block of Pine Street regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to her left ankle. The juvenile victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramdemics, then was transported to A.I. duPont Children’s Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

This is an ongoing investigation.
