Wilmington – On Wednesday, November 16, 2017 New Castle County patrol officers were dispatched to the Hillcrest Methodist Church located in the 400 block of Hillcrest Ave for the report of a burglary, according to Master Corporal Heather Carter.
Carter said police learned that on Tuesday, November 15, 2017, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m., unknown subjects entered the church through a window and removed cash and a check from inside the church’s office.
The Evidence Detection Unit responded to the scene for processing. Police continue to investigate.
