Middletown House Fire Displaces Resident

Middletown –  Just after 4:00 this afternoon firefighters from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, along with crews from Odessa, Townsend, and crews from Cecil County Maryland responded to Redding Circle and North Catherine Street for reports of a house fire.

Upon arrival, crews reported fire showing from the home. Crews immediately began to put water on the fire and were able to knock most of it down in approximately 15 minutes.

It’s believed that one adult was displaced by the fire and is being assisted by the Red Cross.

Fire Marshals have responded to the scene.
