Just before 7:00 this morning rescue crews responded to the intersection of Route 48 and Route 141 for reports of an injury crash.
Upon their arrival, crews found two vehicles with heavy damage and two patients in need of medical care.
Reports from the scene indicate that tw0 patients were transported to the hospital, one with a trauma alert.
The roadway was restricted while crews worked to clear the scene. The road reopened just before 8:00.
