The Wilmington Police Department has identified the man shot and killed this morning as 50-year-old Sean Spencer of Wilmington.

Breaking Report
Wilmington – Just before 3:00 this morning, July 18, 2018, officers with the Wilmington Police Department responded to the 800 block of W. 5th Street regarding a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 50-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was transported to Christiana Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Wilmington Detectives are currently on scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
