Police Chase That Began In Baltimore Ends With 7 Vehicles Destroyed In Elkton

Elkton – A police chase that began in Baltimore ended on Route 40 in Elkton after crashing into six vehicles.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the stolen blue pickup truck heading northbound on Route 40 crossed over into oncoming traffic and began striking oncoming vehicles.

The blue pickup reportedly slammed into a Chevrolet Suburban before ramming three trucks, a van, and an SUV, before flipping and rolling down Route 40.

Baltimore Police, Elkton Police and Maryland State Troopers are on scene investigating. Southbound Route 40 at Bridge Street remains closed.

The suspect and two other patients are believed to have been transported to Christiana Hospital.
