Delaware School Closings For November 15, 2018

Appoquinimink School District Afternoon Pre-K is cancelled – Due to the timing of the inclement weather and for our students’ safety we are cancelling afternoon Pre-K. Temperatures may fall later and cause slippery conditions.
Brandywine School District – Due to slippery road conditions and in the interest of keeping all of our students and staff safe, we will be dismissing one hour early today. All after-school activities and programs are cancelled as well, and there is no afternoon preschool at Bush.
Christina School District – Due to inclement weather conditions, all after-school and evening activities in the Christina School District are canceled on Thursday, November 15, 2018. All Adult Education, Groves Adult High School, and Distance Learning classes are canceled.
Colonial School District – Due to weather, All Secondary schools will dismiss at 1:15 pm today, All Elementary schools will dismiss at 2:15 pm today.
EDISON (THOMAS A.) CHARTER SCHOOL TECS Early Dismissal 1 PM Due to the inclement weather, TECS will be closing at 1:00 PM today, November 15th. All after-school activities including math night are canceled. Math night will be rescheduled for a later date.
Newark Charter School – All afterschool activities cancelled.
ODYSSEY CHARTER SCHOOL – After School Activities Cancelled – Due to inclement weather, all after school activities have been cancelled, including tonight’s open house. Students will dismiss via their normal manner. Aftercare students should be picked up as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00.
PROVIDENCE CREEK ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL Early Dismissal 2:00PM 11/15/18 Due to inclement weather Providence Creek Academy will dismiss at 2:00PM. All afterschool activities are cancelled. No aftercare will be available.
Red Clay School District – Schools will dismiss at normal times today, Thursday, November 15. All after-school activities are cancelled. The Conrad Schools of Science Middle School Choice Open House scheduled for this evening has been rescheduled for Monday, November 26, 2018 at 6 p.m.
FYI – Authorities are dealing with numerous crashes up and down the state. Use caution on the roadways.
