Wilmington Police are investigating three shootings that took place within hours of each other on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
The first incident occurred at approximately 12:41 am. In that case, Wilmington Police officers responded to the 100 block of N. Harrison Street for a ‘shots fired’ complaint.
When they arrived, the officers located an 18-year old female suffering from a graze wound. She was treated on scene and was transported to the hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
The second incident occurred at approximately 8:29 pm. In that case, Wilmington Police officers once again were responding to a ‘shots fired’ complaint, this time in the 2300 block of West Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated on scene and was transported to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
A little over half an hour later at 9:06, the third shooting occurred in the 800 block of E. 13th Street. Responding officers found a 44-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene.
He was treated on scene and was transported to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
