Two Found Shot Just Blocks From Police Headquarters

On Wednesday, January 16, at approximately 11:23 pm, Wilmington Police responded to a ‘shots fired’ complaint in the 600 block of E. 5th Street, just three blocks from their headquarters.

Upon police arrival, they located a 25-year old male and a 30-year old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were treated on scene and were transported to the hospital where they are both listed in stable condition.
