Two Elderly Men Injured In Crash Near Claymont

At approximately 4:25 yesterday afternoon, February 14, 2019, New Castle County Paramedics and surrounding fire departments were dispatched to the intersection of Governor Printz Boulevard and Orchard Lane for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found 2 patients. The first patient, an 81-year-old male, suffered injuries to his head. He was treated on scene and transported via Claymont Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics.

The second patient, a 67-year-old male, suffered injuries to his head. He was treated on scene and transported via Talleyville Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics.

Both patients were in stable condition at the time of transport and transported to Wilmington Hospital.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
