Just In: Woman Run Over By Landscaper’s Trailer In Middletown Neighborhood

At 10:12 this morning, rescue and ambulance crews from the Volunteer Hose Company Of Middletown, Odessa Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics, and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Nantucket Drive for reports of

[ms-protect-content id=”35525,36371,36374,36464,36481″]a pedestrian being struck.

While en route crews were advised that the patient was in the backyard of the home.

Upon their arrival, crews recalled the helicopter and the rescue crews.

Reports from the scene indicate that a woman attempting to place something on the trailer as it pulled away was run over by the trailer.

The woman is en route to Christiana Hospital via ground ambulance.
