Officials: Claymont Explosion Leaves Man In Critical Condition

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating an explosion in the parking lot of Claymont automotive repair shop that left a man injured.

Officials said a 50-year-old man is in critical condition following an explosion the occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019,  on Governor Printz Boulevard.

A 50-year-old man is in critical condition following an explosion in the parking lot of an automotive repair shop, the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office announced Thursday.

 

The “explosive device” was detonated and the victim’s injuries were caused by that device, according to officials.
