Wilmington Charge Man With Burglary Of A Business

Wilmington Police have arrested and charged a 37-year-old man in connection with a burglary of a business.

On May 9 at approximately 12:44 a.m., a police officer on proactive patrol was flagged down in reference to a suspicious person in the 800 block of North Market Street. Police were provided with a detailed description of the subject and began an area search.

During that search, an officer heard the door of a business close and saw broken glass. Police searched the business and found evidence of criminal mischief, police said.

Additional officers located 37-year-old Walter Ruebeck in the area of 9th and Shipley Streets. He was taken into custody and charged with burglary (third degree) and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 .
