Vehicular traffic along West 11th Street between North Adams and North Monroe streets will be prohibited on Saturday, June 15 beginning at 7:00 a.m. The street will be reopened to traffic no later than 5:00 p.m. Pedestrian traffic in the area will also be affected.
The street is being closed due to scheduled work involving a crane at the Capital One Building, 802 Delaware Avenue.
Pedestrians will be prohibited from traveling along West 11th Street between Trenton Place and North Monroe Street, where the work will take place. Motorists traveling north on North Adams Street will be prohibited from turning right onto West 11th Street, while those exiting I-95 at West 11th Street on Saturday will be redirected to detour left onto North Adams Street toward Delaware Avenue.
Signage will direct both motorists and pedestrians around the work, and residents will still be able to access their property on Trenton Place and North Monroe streets during the day.
