Fallen Soldier Arrives At Dover Air Force Base On Tuesday

The Department of Defense announced Monday the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.

Sgt. 1st Class. Elliott J. Robbins, 31, from Ogden, Utah, died June 30, 2019, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, from a non-combat related incident. The incident is under investigation.

A U.S. Army carry team transferred the remains of Sgt. Robbins during a dignified transfer July 2, 2019, at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.

Robbins was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Carson, Colorado.
