On July 11, 2019, Milford Police arrested a Magnolia man after an investigation into possible prostitution led to the seizure of drugs and a firearm, according to Sgt. Robert Masten.
Masten said at approximately 10:34 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 200 block of Charles Street in Milford to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival Jamel Littlepage, 24, of Magnolia, was contacted.
Observations by the initial arriving officer led to further investigation which included the use of a police K9. That investigation resulted in the seizure of five cell phones, drug paraphernalia, THC gummy candy, pills, 116 grams of marijuana, 12 grams of psilocybin mushroom, a ski mask, cash, and a .40 caliber handgun., according to Masten.
Littlepage was charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, 5 counts of Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.
He was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3 in Georgetown, where bail was set at $46,250.00 secured.
Littlepage was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution and is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas next week.
