Bear – Rescue crews from the Cristiana Fire Company along with Delaware State Police have responded to Route 1 SB just at Route 40 offramp from reports of an injury accident.
Arriving crews are reporting that the vehicle is into the trees and that one person is trapped.
New Castle County Paramedics have been added to the call.
Crews are laying a hand line down the hill and have requested a chain saw.
Update: The patient has been extricated from the vehicle and en route to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital.
