Happening Now: Pedestrian Struck Near UD Campus In Newark

Newark – Rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, covering for Aetna, Hose Hook, and Ladder have responded to South College Avenue at West Park Place for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Newark Police are reporting that a female is sitting in the roadway and appears to be conscious and alert.

Update: Reports from the scene indicate that the patient was struck at low speed and is now en route to Christiana Hosptial with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
