Man Hit By Car Crossing Old Baltimore Pike Dies

Newark – The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a motor vehicle crash which has claimed the life of a male subject that occurred this morning in Newark, according to Delaware State Police Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Jeffrey R. Hale

Hale said that the the initial investigation has determined that the crash occurred at approximately 4:02 a.m. this morning, Thursday, January 12, 2017, in the 500 block of Old Baltimore Pike, Newark. As a result of the crash a male pedestrian has been declared dead. There were no other injuries.

The circumstances surrounding this incident is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
