Newark Family Adds Smiles To Afternoon Commute For World Kindness Day

Newark – Wednesday afternoon Tiffany Sayers and her family stood at the corner of Barksdale Road and Casho Mill Road to spread joy.

To celebrate World Kindness Day mom and the kids held homemade signs with kind messages for drivers passing through the intersection.

Sayers said the kids wanted to encourage kindness and hoped the gesture would make the motorist day.

We got lots of honks said Sayers, referring to one sign that read “Honk for kindness”.

World Kindness Day is an international observance on 13 November. It was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, a coalition of nations’ kindness NGOs.
