I-95 Lane and Ramp Closures Coming This Weekend

DelDOT has announced that I-95 northbound/southbound will require double lane closures in both directions over the Brandywine River Bridge this weekend.

There will be a single through lane for traffic in each direction as a result. During this time, the I-95 northbound on-ramp from N. Adams Street will be closed and the I-95 southbound Exit 7B at Delaware Avenue will also be closed.

These closures are necessary to allow for the repair of deterioration of the road surface in the center lane both northbound and southbound. The entire concrete surface of the bridge deck will be replaced during the upcoming I-95 Corridor Rehabilitation Project beginning in March 2021.

Times and Dates: 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019.
