Nine Charged After Simultaneous Search Warrants Served, Seven Released

The Dover Police Department arrested nine persons as the result of a pair of search warrants that were simultaneously executed on Friday afternoon with the assistance of the Delaware State Police and Delaware Probation and Parole, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said the search warrants were the result of a drug and firearms investigation at both of the residences.

At a residence in the 100 Block of S. New Street, officers arrested Joseph Brown (52) and John Baker (21). Brown was found to be in possession of 1 gram of heroin, 2.5 grams of crack cocaine, two oxycodone pills, packaging materials, and $635 in cash, according to Hoffman.

Brown was later released on an O.R. bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Heroin
-Possession of Controlled Substance (Oxycodone)
-Drug Paraphernalia

Baker was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution (SCI) on a Violation of Probation charge that he was wanted on at the time of the search warrant.

The second search warrant was executed at a home in the Unit Block of S. New Street. As a result of this search warrant, officers located the following items: 250 grams of marijuana, two .40 caliber handguns, digital scales, and packaging materials, according to Hoffman.

Kinon Teat Jr. (24) was committed to SCI on a $25,000 cash bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (2x)
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Violation of Probation

Jazzman Bolden (28) was released on an O.R. Bond on the following charges:
-Maintaining a Drug Property
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Drug Paraphernalia

Derrick Wilcox III (26) was released on an O.R. Bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Local Fugitive

Terry Bolden Jr. (24) was released on an O.R. Bond on the following charges:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia

Jeremiah Hampton (24) was released on an O.R. Bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited (drugs)
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia

Tazz Bogle (21) was released on an O.R. Bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia

Derek Johnson Jr. was released on an O.R. Bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Marijuana
-Resisting Arrest (attempted to flee the residence on foot as police made entry)
