Ocean View Police Police make three arrests after investigation.
On May 6, 2020, the Ocean View Police Department raided a home located on Flint Court in the Murrays Haven neighborhood in Millville, according to Chief Kenneth McLaughlin.
McLaughlin said the raid was the result of an investigation into unlawful drug sales in the Ocean View, Millville, and Lower Sussex County area.
The investigation began after a concerned citizen contacted the Ocean View Police Department and complained about children in Ocean View using and buying marijuana. McLaughlin aid officers immediately launched an investigation into the matter and quickly identified the source of the drugs.
Ocean View Police have charged the Ronald E. OTT, 52, of Millville with:
One Count – Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
Two Counts -Manufacture / Deliver / Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance in Tier 2 Quantity
One Count Possession of a controlled substance in Tier 2 Quantity
One Count – Maintaining a Drug Property
Two Counts -Possession / Purchase / Own / Control of Firearm or Ammunition by person prohibited
One Count – Manufacture / Deliver / Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance
Possession of a controlled substance in Tier 1 Quantity
Conspiracy Second Degree and
Endangering the Welfare of a child
Jarren L. Cropper, 19, also of Millville was charged with:
One Count – Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
Two Counts -Manufacture / Deliver / Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance in Tier 2 Quantity
One Count Possession of a controlled substance in Tier 2 Quantity
One Count – Manufacture / Deliver / Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance

An unnamed juvenile, 16, of Millville was charged with:
One Count – Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
Two Counts – Manufacture / Deliver / Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance in Tier 2 Quantity
One Count Possession of a controlled substance in Tier 2 Quantity
One Count – Manufacture / Deliver / Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance

Delaware State Police and South Bethany Police supported Ocean View officers during the raid.
McLaughlin said the investigation resulted in the seizure of Psilocybin Mushrooms (8.6 Grams), marijuana (235 Grams), handguns, and $2,310.00 in cash.
