Newark- At around 3:15 Tuesday morning crews responded to a crash involving a tractor-trailer and an occupied Delaware State Police patrol vehicle.
Upon their arrival, crews requested zone fire police to close I-95 SB and to divert all traffic onto Route 141 NB.
As a result of this crash and ongoing investigation, I-95 southbound in the area of Churchmans Marsh Road in Newark was closed until around 6:30 Tuesday morning.
Officials said that the nature of injuries to the individuals involved are non-life-threatening.
Motorists will experience delays in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
