Dover Police have arrested a 26-year-old man after a shooting inside a hotel room on Sunday morning, according to Public Information Office
Sergeant Mark Hoffman.
Hoffman said at approximately 12:32 a.m., officers responded to the Capital Inn for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a 25-year-old woman inside of a hotel room with three gunshot wounds to her hip/pelvis area and multiple lacerations and bruises to her face and head area. Investigators also learned that Allison and his girlfriend were involved in an altercation with the female victim. During that altercation, Allison struck the victim several times in the head and face with the handgun and then shot her three times before fleeing, added Hoffman.
