New Castle County Police (NCCPD) make arrests after a lengthy investigation.
Officials said during the months of January and February 2021, detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Drug Control Squad spear-headed an investigation based on information from the community.
The detectives learned that 33-year-old Pierre Johnson of Smyrna and his female acquaintance, 28-year-old Naomi Patrick-Smith of Centerville were selling heroin, Fentanyl, and crack cocaine all throughout New Castle County, according to police.
Yesterday, after sufficient probable cause was established a search warrant was authored and executed at Smith’s residence located on the 5000 block of Old Kennett Pike, according to police. Members of the New Castle County Division of Police Special Weapons and Tactics Team assisted the detectives with the search warrant execution.
After initial contact was made, Johnson was seen climbing out of a second-floor bedroom window, according to police. He then opted to crawl back in through the window, but not before throwing a handgun outside on the ground, added police.
