Police have yet to release details in what is believed to be a double stabbing on Monday.
At around 4:30 yesterday afternoon police and rescue crews responded to the 400 block of County Road in Bear for reports of a stabbing. Shortly after crews arrived on scene another call was dispatched to the unit block of Soloman Drive in the Estates of Red Lion for reports of a second stabbing victim.
Sources have told First State Update that a woman was fatally stabbed in the County Road incident, however, officials have not confirmed those details. We have also been told that the person stabbed in the Soloman Drive incident was a male and that his wounds were self-inflicted. Those details have not been confirmed by police either,
It’s not clear if police think there is a threat to the community or if this is an isolated incident.
