Hockessin – Troopers are currently on scene investigating what appears to be a bank robbery at the M & T Bank located in the Lantana Square Shopping Center at Valley Road and Lantana Drive.
Just after 11:00 Saturday morning Hockessin residents began messaging First State Update reporting a bank robbery. Our reporter on scene observed Troopers stopping vehicles that were trying to enter the bank parking lot, telling them the that bank was closed.
A Trooper was stationed in front of the bank while others were inside investigating the incident. Other Troopers appeared to be checking the surrounding business for video cameras and witnesses.
Medical crews were not dispatched to the scene and no injuries have been reported.
