The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Capital Inn on Sunday morning, according to Public Information Office Sergeant Mark Hoffman.
Hoffman said at approximately 2:38 a.m., officers were called to the Capital Inn for a report of a shooting and located a 23-year-old male victim with a single gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
