Pedestrian Reportedly Struck And Killed In Bear Sunday

Just after 8:45, Sunday evening rescue crews responded to Pulaski Highway (Route 40) at Holly Avenue for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Initial reports indicate that a female pedestrian was struck by an SUV and succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The roadway was closed while police investigated the crash.
