Just In: Vehicle Struck By Gunfire In New Castle Walmart Parking Lot

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in New Castle Monday morning.

At around 11:45 Monday morning rescue crews and police responded to the Walmart on Wilton Blvd. in New Castle for reports of a shooting. It’s not clear if anyone has been struck by the gunfire.

A vehicle in the parking lot has multiple bullet holes in the windshield.
