Shortly before 8:00, Sunday morning troopers were observed chasing a red pickup near Milford.
Just minutes later rescue crews from the Ellendale Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to Dupont Blvd and Beach Highway for reports of an injury crash involving a police pursuit.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that three patients were being evaluated as a result of the crash.
Police have yet to release details regarding the chase or the crash.
