Just after 9:00, Wednesday evening officers with the Wilmington Police Department responded to the area of E 23rd Street & Pine Street for reports of a shooting.
Initial reports indicate that over a dozen shots were fired at that location. Minutes after the shooting a man in his 20s arrived at an area hospital via private vehicle with very serious injuries sources say.
Update: Police are reporting that the 22-year-old- man is listed in critical condition.
