Two Shot In Wilmington Just Hours Apart

On Tuesday Wilmington Police responded to a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 6:19 p.m., in the 700 block of N. Monroe Street. 

Police said they located an 18-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

About six hours after the first shooting officers responded to another shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:19 a.m., in the 700 block of W. 3rd Street. 

At this scene police located a 17-year-old female gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Police did not say if they believe these shootings are related.
