Now, in his third year of Quarter Midgets, David has taken on the challenge of his Rookie year, competing in the Winged 125 Micro Car category. Despite being a newcomer, David has managed to secure an impressive 3rd position in points within his class, setting himself apart as the highest placing Rookie.
But David’s ambitions extend beyond personal success on the track. He dreams of using his racing platform for good and making a positive impact on the world. Such a noble goal at such a young age demonstrates his maturity and sense of responsibility. By using his growing influence and visibility in the racing community, David hopes to inspire others and contribute to charitable causes in the future.
When asked about his racing idols, David mentions three race car drivers he looks up to – Hailie Deegan, Chase Cabre, and Denny Hamlin. Their determination, achievements, and sportsmanship have left a lasting impression on David, and he aspires to one day meet them and perhaps even share the track with these racing stars.
Interestingly, David’s journey into the world of racing was prompted by the pandemic. With team sports unavailable during those uncertain times, David found a new passion in racing, and it quickly became an outlet for his competitive spirit. Little did anyone know that this momentary diversion would lead to the discovery of his true calling.
