Just before 1:00 on a Tuesday afternoon, emergency responders were called to a residence in the 100 block of Morris Drive in Dover.
The crews responded to reports of a stabbing incident. According to initial reports from the scene, a man had been stabbed in the face by an unknown assailant.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with the knife reportedly still lodged in the victim’s face.
The Dover Police Department is currently on scene investigating the incident.
