Wilmington Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 700 block of South Van Buren Street at approximately 8:26 p.m. on Monday.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 25-year-old male victim who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim’s condition was critical when he was transported to the hospital.
