Emergency responders have been dispatched to the 100 block of S Broad Street in Middletown, following reports of a traffic collision with a pedestrian.
Personnel from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4, were alerted at 9:54 Sunday morning.
Crews arrive at 10:01 and made contact with the patient. The extent of injuries and the circumstances surrounding the incident are not immediately available.
Follow-up reports indicate that the patient was not seriously injured and may not have been struck as previously reported
